Base Coat :3

Step 1: Paint your nail red

Step 2: Kinda like the Green Lantern nails, paint the sides of your nail blue

Step 3: Draw a thin black line down the middle of your nail, and then another line going across the middle, but stay in the red. Then begin curving the web bits.

Step 4: Continue the curved lines until you have a full web.

Step 5: Top coat…which again, I forgot to take a photo of..

Hello base coat, nice to see you again.

Step 1: Paint your nail green.

Step 2: Take your black polish and paint two lines on the sides of your nail

Step 3: With your nail art, draw two horizontal lines, doing your best to make them the same length….something I fail at.

Step 4: Draw a circle, connecting the lines of course.

Step 5: Top coat…which I managed to not take a photo of…-whistles-

Ta Da!

Deadpool tutorial!

Ok so the photos here…ha. Ha ha. Sorry. I was rushing to make this and didn’t feel like going back over some parts, cause I’m lazy :3

Anyway. Here we gooooooooooooooooo.

BASE COAT!

I just used white and red nail art from Sally’s and Finger Paints’ Black Expressionism

Step 1: Paint your nail black [two coats]

Step 2: Draw a red line right down the middle

Step 3: Draw red lines one the edge of your nail to make the “circle”

Step 4: Take a dotting tool or tooth pick and dot white eyes kinda close to the middle line.

Step 5: TOP COOOOOOAT :D

and BAM! Done.

Well, Me and my husband took a trip to the beach this past weekend, and we both got sun burnt fairly bad. so i thought, in the midst of our non-sunscreen stupidity, i thought I’d make a post of how to protect your skin (not that any of you don’t know this, i mean REALLY XD) and if you do get burnt, how you can sooth it.

so if you’re out in the sun, obviously the VERY BEST thing you can do is put on really good sunscreen, and try to stay in the shade. limit your time in the sun to maybe 15-20 minutes at a time. if you cant seem to find shade, wear a hat, or well….good luck.

Now, if you’re already burnt, there are some ways you can sooth and treat it. it may sound odd, but if you’re able to, take a luke warm shower within 24 hours of the burn, this will draw some of the heat away. you could also take a cooler shower, and spritz vinegar on the burn, it will also help draw the heat and sting as well as close your pores.

another thing i REALLY recommend is Aloe-vera. either from a commercial bottle or from the plant. it soothes quickly and hydrates your skin.

and lastly, Noxzema. Yes the acne cleansing face wash. It instantly cools your skin and draws out the heat.

now, there’s a LOT more ways you can prevent and treat sunburns. these are just ways I’ve treated my husband’s and mine. so…good luck (:

Part 2 - Arc reactor + design

If you don’t care for doing Iron Man’s mask on all of your nails [I sure as hell don’t XD] here’s a little design that you can do for the rest of your nails.

The Arc reactor here can be done on your other thumbnail. Simple little design.

Design:

Step 1: Paint your nails yellow. Two coats.

Step 2: Carefully take your red polish and create a diagonal line across the line. May use two coats to do it.

Step 3: TOP COAT [I will forever say this dammit]

Arc reactor:

Step 1: Paint thumbnail yellow. Two coats.

Step 2: Draw a line about the middle of the nail.

Step 3: Draw two lines downward, a little outward.

Step 4: Draw two lines downward again, this time inward until touching.

Step 5: Take your red polish and carefully color around the diamond shape. May take two coats.

Step 6: YOU GUESSED IT. TOP COAT.

Part 1- Iron Man mask

I gotta say, I love Iron Man. Love Tony Stark. I don’t care how airheaded, I love the bastard. It’s been about a year since I started doing nails and this design was what got me started.

BASE COAT. ALWAYS BASE COAT.

Step 1: Paint your thumb nail [or which ever nail you like] red. Two coats.

Step 2: With your nail art, draw five lines like so. You can also use black polish and a toothpick. Work with what you got.

Step 3: Draw the rest of the outline.

Step 4: With a dotting tool or tooth pick or VERY CAREFULLY with a polish brush, color the inside of the mask with a yellow.

Step 5: Repeat. Make the color stand out more.

Step 6: Take your nail art once again and draw two rectangles for his eyes. Try to keep them straight or going down. We don’t want Iron Man looking sad.

Step 7: Color in his eyes with a blue. Best to use a tooth pick again.

Step 8: Take your nail art and draw his mouth line.

Step 9: TOP COAT. We want him to last more than a day or two :3

IRON MAN MAKE UP! yes. this is the first look of our Hero...

IRON MAN MAKE UP! yes. this is the first look of our Hero series.

I’ll show you step by step what i did, and what i used.

step 1: use any kind of eye shadow primer, white primer works the best for bright colors, especially for darker skin. I used NYX eye shadow primer.

step 2: cover a little more than half of your eye lid with gold, starting at the inner corner and working your way up and out. I used ‘Honey’ by Urban Decay

step 3: with a medium grey, cover your outer lid LIGHTLY, we just want to darken the maroon with this. I just used a simple grey out of my 120Colors Palette by bh cosmetics.

step 4: add maroon to your eyelid staying under the crease of your eye from your inner corner to outer corner, and brush it outward and under your eye from the outer corner to about half way. i used just a simple maroon also out of my 120Colors Palette by bh cosmetics.

step 5: apply either an electric blue eyeliner, or eye shadow under your eye starting from your inner corner going only about half way meeting the maroon.

step 6: add two coats of mascara (i used The Falsies ‘black drama’ by maybelline) and with the same maroon, brush it lightly through your eyebrows. this is optional, but it adds to the intensity of the make up, and essentially will work with any hair color.

step 7: apply eyeliner to your top and bottom lid and wing it out. the best way to keep your eyeliner wings even, start your eye liner at your outer corner and make a small stroke towards the end of your eyebrow.

now you’re done!! please excuse the quality of these pictures haha im taking them with my iphone, so until i get a good camera, bear with me. (:
